DonationsPickup.org handles every step — from scheduling and logistics to picking up your items and converting them into monetary funds — so charities can stay focused on their mission instead of the logistics. To ensure fair and equal support, we follow a monthly rotation strategy, selecting a different featured charity each month and making a financial contribution to their work. Your generosity gives your items a second life while strengthening a wide range of organizations that uplift our community.

Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM)
The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) is a non-profit organization that provides access to affordable healthcare services for low-income, working musicians, DJs, and music teachers in the greater Austin area. Its mission is to keep the local music scene thriving by ensuring that the people behind the music can access vital health and wellness support.
Services and Programs
HAAM helps members access a wide range of healthcare services, including:

Health Insurance & Premium Assistance: Assisting musicians with enrolling in Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace plans and providing financial assistance for premiums (if eligible and funds are available).

Primary Medical Care: Through a partnership with H-E-B Wellness, uninsured members may qualify for a zero-cost subscription to a direct primary care program that includes unlimited primary care visits, basic lab work, and immunizations.

Specialized Care: Access to services such as dental work, vision exams, hearing screenings, mental health counseling, physical therapy, and specialist referrals.

Wellness Support: Connections to other non-medical resources like housing assistance, food security, and fitness programs through partnerships with organizations like the Greater Austin YMCA.
