No, You can leave your items outside or in your building lobby and go about your day.

Where Should I Place My Donated Items?

Please place your donations outside at ground level, in a visible and easily accessible spot — ideally where our driver can see them from the street.
For safety reasons, our drivers cannot enter homes, garages, or gated areas.
 All items should be placed in bags or boxes clearly labeled “Donation Pickup.”

What if I live in an apartment building?

We prefer to collect donations from ground level outside your apartment building for safety and accessibility reasons. Our drivers are not permitted to enter private residences, secured areas, or go beyond the second floor.
 Please contact our Donor Services Team at 512-920-0199 to discuss options or confirm the pickup policy in your area.

Do you pick up in gated communities?

Yes, we do! If you live in a gated community, please provide a visitor access code for our driver or notify the gate attendant in advance of your scheduled pickup.
You can also call us at 512-920-0199, and we’ll make sure your  driver is informed and prepared for entry on your pickup day.

Do you pick up at storage units?

Yes, we can pick up from storage units with special arrangements.
 Please contact us  at 512-920-0199 before scheduling so we can confirm access details and coordinate with our local driver to ensure a smooth pickup.

Question 11

What if I accidentally left something I didn't mean to give in my donantion?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, due to the volume of donations received, we are generally not able to recover lost items left in bags. If you realize on the day of pickup, please let us know on that day so we have a chance of looking before the items are sorted. If the day has passed, unfortunately the items have already been sorted.

Can your driver help me move items out of my house, backyard or garage?

No, unfortunately, our drivers are not allowed inside residences or backyards, even with permission. Your donations must be placed outside the home, and they must be visible from the street and accessible by foot

Can you accept damaged clothing or items in need of repair?

Accepted Answer

We prefer clothing and goods donations to be in new or “gently used” condition. Please do not donate items in need of repair as we can’t fix them.

What if the weather is bad? Will you still pick up my donations? Should I still put my donations outside if it’s raining or snowing?

Our trucks pick up rain or shine. However, if the roads are hazardous, the local pick up service may contact you to reschedule your pickup.

Do you pick up furniture donations?

Accepted Answer

We’re sorry but we cannot accept large furniture items. We only accept items that are small and light enough for one person to easily lift and carry.
No Furniture: Couches, sofas, sleeper couches, box springs, mattresses, desks, large dressers, heavy chairs, etc. cannot be accepted.
